Learning New Tricks

I've never seen a blackbird latch on to the bird feeder before. Normally, if they try to get some of the sunflower hearts they will fly in and try to grab one while flapping their wings furiously.

I've seen this a couple of times and today managed to get a shot of the bird. I think it is only the one who has learnt how to do it.

We had a walk from Shareshill in bright sunshine today, before a quick drink in the local pub. Other than that a quiet day.
