Candlemas

I confess to only being there for the music! Perhaps it's actually performing that gives me the buzz as the whole service was very enjoyable; we sang some challenging pieces on only two rehearsals.
Best thing was meeting up with 'friends' from other choirs and catching up with them. Interesting that several from one choir I sang with until recently, asking when I was 'coming back'! I think I will return if offered the opportunity, but it's an auditioned choir, and I may not make the grade now - age takes its toll on the voice.
