Time to go home
Sunrise in Cornwall; sunset (almost) in Lincoln. Pre-blipping there was very little chance of me getting up at 5.45am on the last day of a holiday to take a picture of the sunrise but it had to be done this morning. A shame that the sun wasn't rising either over St Ives or Godrevy lighthouse but still a sight nonetheless.
We were packed up and on the road by ten past eight and made it home by three o'clock with one stop for lunch and a change of drivers. No hold-ups for us but people just starting their holidays will have had a very long day judging by the traffic on the other carriageway.
We have had a great week with many highlights not least yesterday's performance at the Minack, a closer look at Godrevy Lighthouse and return trips to St Ives and Trebah Gardens.
