Good Luck Charm

Oh crikey, it was challenging up at Redbrook this morning. The wind was brutally cold and the water temp didn’t quite reach 2°. The girls are amazing, they’ve not been doing this for six months yet and they are swimming in absolutely baltic conditions….not dipping, but swimming!

We went for breakfast in Delph again. Andrea, who runs the cafe, saw us arrive and said “oh no, don’t tell me you’ve been swimming again” lol. We are regulars now and the bacon barms are gorgeous. We stayed for so long that we had to move onto cake and more tea.

This time next week I will have done all my swims in the Baltic.
