A motley crew & Cakes

Two major events today, but first a newsflash.
On Thursday evening we, Marlane and I, were saying that Bella was so lucky not to have caught Chickenpox from Hetty.
The next day the school rang and asked me to go and pick Bella up as she was showing signs of, yes, you've guessed it, Chickenpox!!
Hence the white patches of Calamine Lotion on her face. It's actually all over her body, she just exploded with itchy spots over the past two days!
In the photograph of the girls they asked if they could make cakes. Marlane reminded me that there was a box of 'Cup Cake Mix (Toy Story)' in the cupboard.
With very little supervision the girls mixed the ingredients, filled the cake cases, I put them into the oven though. Some things you don't let six year olds do!
While they were in the oven they mixed the icing, which came with the kit so we had chocolate cakes and chocolate creamy topping, plus edible Toy Story characters to put on the top.
They loved doing it, and loved eating them too! There were 10 cakes in the kit and we have 3 left, although I must admit Marlane and I had one each so the girls had 5 between them HAHAHAHAHAHAHA
The motley crew bit, in the title, does not refer to the girls, it's the top photo.
A while ago I contacted Wiltshire County RBL Riders with a view to meeting up on some ride-outs so they have started to invite us when they have ride-outs. Today it was to Kingsley Café, Eynsham. To give you an idea where it is, if I'd ridden another 10 minutes I'd be in Oxford.
It was a beautiful day and a nice, solo, ride. No-one else from the Gloucestershire RBL Riders could make it so I made the ground-breaking meet up alone.
One funny episode, was one of them said I looked familiar. I told him that I wasn't surprised as I'd spent a couple of hours with him, and a few others, wandering around the National Memorial Arboretum on the 28th December when we had a West Midlands meet. And I thought my memory was bad! HAHAHAHAHAHAHA
Maybe it was because I wasn't wearing my RAF Beret today.
