(Don't) Whistle While You Work

My Dear Princess and Dear Fellow,

Caro had to work a big funeral today (Sunday) so I hardly got to see her!

Nevertheless, she seemed to do well and everyone was happy. Let me rephrase that. Everyone was happy with the funeral and dedication. Obviously generally "happy" was not on the cards.

It's a strange professional really. I asked Caro if she had enjoyed her day and she gave an enthusiastic "YES". But you mustn't misinterpret. What she likes is the chat and meeting new dogs and things like that. 

I guess it's quite a confronting job really. A daily reminder that Life Goes On, as they say. For Caro, the end of everything is business as usual. 

I daresay she'll even enjoy MY wake. Hopefully not for a while though.
