Sunny Sunday

Another beautiful day, and a long walk with B at lunchtime. 

Quite a few people were out and about today; some of them with backpacks and trekking poles. Our usual walk through the vineyards follows the Rheinsteig for a few kilometres - a long-distance-trail, popular mainly in the warmer seasons. But some hardy hikers like to walk it now, without the summer crowds.

The sunny and dry weather is supposed to last for another couple of days, so it’s not a bad time to go for a hike along the river Rhine with its famous castles.
