...In A Jug...

Being a lover of all things old (and also rather embarrassingly nostalgic at times) I do like a look around a second-hand bookshop.

I bought this book on the basis that I thought the cover was really cool.

I've still to read it but get this!

For thirty years Larry Alden has been entertaining people in the same way, playing the piano and singing...
"World in a Jug" is his own story, wisecracking, gay, alcoholic and frequently, despite himself, filled with compassion and tenderness.

It must have been calling out to me from the bookshelf!

(Smells a bit but I'll see what the first chapter is like...)
