Sunday Lunch
Today I gave my wife a day off. We went down the pub.
It is our 'go to' place when a Sunday Roast is on the cards
I had Sea Bass and Mrs I had roast beef
Copious amounts of vegetables were provided, all freshly prepared and piping hot.
My Sea Bass had its own jug of white wine and tartare sauce. Mrs I had mustard.
I can honestly say we have never tasted better pub food, even in high end restaurants which we don't frequent very often anyway.
Mrs I was flup and didn't want a sweet. I wasn't, and I did.
It was a mere trifle, drenched in sherry and whipped cream...
Forgive Me Lord For I Have Sinned...
But by George it was good, and I am once more in the good books...
Phew..
