Sunday Opening

The cactus flower has opened up today, just a tiny bit in the Centre didn’t open. It’s a lovely soft pink and the petals are quite translucent, see the shot in extras! : )

Had a quiet day of rest and relaxation, it was slightly cooler so I had a walk around Hyde Park, haven’t been there for ages as its just been too hot, was shocked to see one of the lakes has half dried out!!!  Shot of the Zamia palm at the end of its season with all the big seed pods dried out, would love one of those! : ). Another 4 day heatwave coming this week which will further accelerate the drying out of the lake!!
Also  had a lovely catch up chat with blipper Barb/Walking Wombat : )xxx
