Memorial

A memorial to all the fishermen lost at sea, it's rather lovely I think. The statue also watches over ice cream munching, photo crashing emmets holiday makers.
We had a slow start to the day, waking up at some embarrassing time. I made a load of pancakes for breakfast/lunch (can't bring myself to call it brunch) then went to Halfords to get a new headlight for the car. We then walked into Newlyn for a Jelberts ice cream (with flake and a dollop of clotted cream of course) and then went for a swim (in the pool, although it was so cold it may as well have been in the sea) to burn off the calories.
It was nice to spend some time with the child today, she has suddenly grown up and seems to be not with me more than she is with me :(
ps there is a mini maid in cornwall in da bliphouse now, so if you stumble across her please say hello - she won't bite hard.
