Icebreaker

I reckoned it might be a morning for Lochore Meadows Parkrun. I was right. 

Cold but beautiful. I ran reasonably well once my legs had de-frosted. 

The loch was frozen in places and I think that is the first time I have seen ice there. Usually the wind prevents it, but not a breath today. Quite a contrast to last weekend. 

The rowers from St Andrews University are usually there about the same time as us, and they had to send their rescue launch out as an icebreaker before they started. 

No football for me today. A day trip to Airdrie could not stir my enthusiasm and I thought my lot might be a bit off colour after the Tuesday night game going to extra time. 

I was right. They lost. Airdrie's... third win of the season. 

Anyway, my Blip is the view which greets you at the finish of the Lochore Meadows course. You can see why I like it.
