Dabbling

A glimpse of the cobbosseecontee stream early this afternoon. Several mallards lined the opposite shore dabbling along the edges and often disappearing amongst the grasses. While there we saw a male merganser splash in to fish in the middle of the stream where the current is much faster. This stream flows into the Kennebec River • About three inches of snow fell during the night with another possibly bigger storm coming tomorrow.
