Hatton Locks

A grey day but dry so Mrs C and i went to Hatton Country World and then followed a country walk along the canal.

The first stage was to get across waterlogged fields to the canal. It was heavy going walking but at least it was not too cold.

My Blip is of the sign post as we joined the canal tow path. I was amazed that there were 21 locks over a 3.5 mile stretch of the canal tow path get to Warwick. I checked on the web when we got home and there was an even more impressive set of locks, 30, over 2.25 miles on the Worcester and Birmingham Canal.

My extras are of images I took as we walked down the tow path.
