Fishing...

I had a walk this morning and then thought I'd go to try to spot kingfishers at the mill pond. When I got there, one was lurking at the back but too far away. I waited and got lucky! It flew up to a favourite perch & so I stealthily moved the car (hide) closer. Lots of cars around this pond and so it tends to not bother them. Humans walking around does however. 

I was lucky that it stayed perched for 5 minus or so and the sun was out during this time. The bird was lit up, but the background was dark. Happy days :)
