BLACKBIRD

Hello all, so sorry I had not intended to stay away again but I'm find these days I'm either resting, attending appointments or sorting things out as best I can.

I'm OK - the op is healing OK - that will be a long process but it is going in the right direction.  

The surgeon checked it last week and was pleased with the progress.  This week I am expecting another appointment to get the results from the pathology lab and then there will be a forward plan put in place for me so I will know what I will be facing after that.  Probably radiotherapy in Preston for anything from 5 to 15 sessions.  That will be 5 in one week, which is fine but it travelling all the way to Preston (about 46 miles each way) that is going to be a problem.  If I'm not too tired we wil go by train but that may be difficult with Northern as they are, especially towards the end of the sessions (if 15) as I understand they are very tiring!! That's not likely to start until early March.

Back to normal things - I saw Mr Blackbird out on the neighbours hedge and actually managed to pick up my "real" camera - not something I've done since diagnosis. 

I will try to keep up daily from now but I can't promise as it very much depends on the progress.

I do so hope you are all OK.  I also want to say MANY CONBLIPULATIONS to all of you who have had Blip Anniversaries that I have missed,
