February!
At last. The weather might not be any better but it’s always a relief to get here to enjoy the spring bulbs and start seeing the increase in light each day.
I’ve used this jigsaw for my blip for Silly Saturday, I finished it last week, it is illustrations by the distinctive Quentin Blake, surely famous for his silly figures in literature. I saw it some time ago when Paula J blipped it and thought it was one I’d like to do. Quite a challenge as everything is on a white background.
Settling down to watch the 6 Nations rugby matches today. We’re not great sports followers but we both enjoy watching this tournament at this time of year.
Later we’re giving a nod to the Chinese New Year by having Chinese food for supper (wish we were having Dim Sum!)
It is the year of the snake which is my symbol. Last time it was the start of the Year of the Snake we were in Hongkong. The snake symbol was everywhere. You can see it here on the underground as we left for the airport - you might even spot Chris and I. We were moving on to Sydney on our way to our wonderful month long trip to New Zealand. That time has flown. Great memories.
