The Tree Survey

This is the first of seven entries in a series of catch-ups. Winter is never a great time for me. The short days mean long dark nights and that regime is hardly great for spiritual well-being.

Following yesterday’s entry today’s entry is really a record survey of the three oak trees on our Northeastern boundary. 
The one on the left looks particularly vulnerable and the other two are not in much better shape. Time to call in the tree surgeon for his professional diagnosis.

The extra shows a lilac tree which is bereft of life. This is one tree I will deal with myself.
