Tunnel on Rossendale Way

I came across this disused railway tunnel while out walking on the Rossendale Way out of Waterfoot Lancashire. Our route took us up the Famine Road and on to Rooley moor and then the wind farm on Scout Moor. The road is so named because it was constructed during the Cotten shortage of the raw materials from America during the civil war in the mid 1860's.
