The Birthday Kids

The date was January 31 of the year 1983. It was wife Lisa's 29th birthday, and she was ready to pop...ready to deliver our 3rd child.

At about 8:10 a.am., son Jeff was born, joining sisters Julie and Karen at home. Thus, they share the same birthday.

The problem? Lisa and I are usually not here for their birthdays. We are usually in Florida when Jeff calls to say..."Not here for my birthday again, eh?"

But not this year. Circumstances have kept us here, so 9 of us met at a local steakhouse to celebrate the occasion. 

Happy birthday to them both, and I love them both dearly.
