Tulips

At this time of year I buy some fresh tulips every couple of weeks.

Work went well today, we finished around 3:30. Only 2 of us working. I guess they figure that after doing several nail color relines, we are getting better at them, so they only schedule 2 people. The weather cooperated today, and the traffic did too. There was very little traffic this morning, and only light traffic coming home this morning.
The temperature this morning when I got up was -10 C. There was some light snow flurries around 11 am, and they were gone by noon. The temperature climbed to +1 C by 1 pm. The afternoon was cloudy. 

When I shoveled snow on Wednesday afternoon it was before the plow went by. There wasn't much at the end of the driveway so I left it, thinking I could drive thru it. The truck went thru it fine this morning when I backed out of the driveway but this afternoon I wanted to back into the driveway, and it started spinning. I couldn't get enough traction to get over the hump. So I circled around and drove in again.  Then I shoveled some of the chunks of snow at the end of the driveway and put some salt down too. Hopefully it will melt some of the ice before we get more snow tonight. It's a little bit frustrating because the landlord said she keeps her side of the driveway shoveled, but she spends most nights with her bf, and when she is here, she hasn't done any shoveling. Her roommate does no shoveling at all, she just drives thru it.
