Back In The Day

Planning is in full swing for our 55th reunion in April, venue, Wolverhampton, no idea why there central I guess.
We have been digging out photographs taken in January 1970, this one represents around 25% of the 701 intake. 701 is the first of of the three 1970 intakes and this is ‘Cooke Division’ of the eleven apprentices shown nine passed out into the Fleet, sadly there will only be three of those shown at the reunion, some we simply cannot find.
Mrs S and I are looking forward to the weekend away.

The weather continues to prevent rowing and the rowing club ‘All Club’ meeting in the evening was cancelled as well.

Fire lit, film on TV and book in hand, enjoyed the evening.
