Try as he might Paddy couldn’t drag this too far, possibly heavy, possibly sandy, whichever he dragged it for a few feet, dropped it, dragged it, dropped it and eventually realised it wasn’t worth the effort of getting it up the steps.
The morning was spent at the Devoran boatshed, having dried out for a week we set to scraping the paint off using heat guns. Taking her back to bare wood will give us the opportunity to inspect before repainting.
