First of many

I suddenly noticed today that the first of hopefully many dwarf iris had come into bloom. Despite the cold nights, Spring is on its way.

Unlike the car which will be at the garage for up to a week and will be returned only after some significant dosh being handed over! Still, better to have it functioning properly.

So no trip out to the west of Edinburgh. Instead a day of emails and paperwork. I’d only spotted the iris when going out to collect the bin. Our son did manage in to the city to see the Turner exhibition. I’d failed to get there and its last day was today. Many others were still trying to catch it: the queue was one and a half hours long.
