Snowshoes

Friday is usually cycling day but today? Well I just couldn’t summon the enthusiasm so I went to Stow on the Wold for a wander round. Some lovely shops with eye watering prices and some very good  less expensive ones too.
I saw these snowshoes on display in FatFace.
How on earth did anyone ever walk in those? Imagine doing up those leather straps and buckles with freezing cold fingers!
Anyway they’re certainly more attractive than the modern plastic ones.
