Goosander

I spent a lot of the morning on the phone to HMRC and I think I have the final answers to setting up the payroll. I'll give it a couple of days before I actually pay the taxes due to make sure things are all set up. At least when I was on hold I could do other little things and was warned how long the wait might be.
In the afternoon I went for a walk round the other ponds and the goosander pair seem to have moved there. No kingfisher or dippers, I saw 7 there last year.
Some tidying up when I got home and sorting out a mistake in the knitting.
Mr Rat arrived safely yesterday and should have travelled on the Kumasi today, he'll phone at some stage.
