Last Day of January

These two note books arrived in the post . The botanical designs on them are created by Isla Middleton. I plan to use one of the notebooks to record recipes and another as a year book of ideas, intentions, things done, reflections etc. I already have a similar note book for the allotment and gardening.

A very wet start to the day but it dried up and became a mild and bright day. We had a tradesperson visit first thing to finish off the refitting our front door. It now hangs straight and is relatively draft free. Then Andy and I had a walk to the pharmacy to see if they could issue him with more prescription painkillers for his face. They couldn’t. The afternoon was spent visiting both the dentist and GPs surgery but neither could write a prescription for more painkillers. Apparently we need to call 111. At least we now know what we need to do.
