Primulas

Not a great deal of colour in the garden at present so took advantage of popping into the garden centre on the way to the library, purchased a replacement pot saucer and sorted my blip. Everywhere you look in garden centres etc, not only in this country,  there are masses of  Primroses/Polyanthus for sale. I presume they are cheap to cultivate in tunnels or under glass, particularly if the produce as much seed as my Primroses.
