3722. Mini Paintings

I’ve decided to do a bit more work in these as I only had cheap water colour pencils and paints with me on holiday and I’m not happy with how they’ve turned out.  I’m going to do more with them to try and make them look a bit better.  We’re finally back home after a mammoth 24 hours of travel, which included an overnight stay at a hotel at the airport.  My suitcase was actually 4kg over weight (I’m not surprised!) but Jet2 generally don’t worry too much so long as your total is ok….my husband’s was a wee bit lighter than 22kg so we got away with it.  Mind you I added two bottles of rather nice vodka to mine last night so that I didn’t have to carry it in my cabin bag!  We had to wait twice for buses but in the whole it all worked out ok.  I just wish that there was a direct bus between our place and the airport as we generally have to catch at least three to get there.  We could take the car but driving at this time of year can be unpredictable weather-wise and neither of us like driving in poor wintry conditions.
