Sunbathing

A lovely sunny day ..... just the weather for a lovely walk :-)

There was a lazy chilly breeze but it was so good to be out in the sunshine.

We had a lovely wander 'up the road' .... went on the riverbank & saw a pair of Dabchick but they were too far away for a photo.

On the way home we spotted this Muntjac resting near the hedge & enjoying the sunshine ..... such a treat to see her :-)

Surprised that she didn't run off but this meant that I could take a couple of photos while she watched me carefully ... I made sure not to get close .... we then left her in peace!

Such a lovely encounter :-)
