Walking and weighting

Had a lovely afternoon wander down by the harbour on a perfect winter’s day. It felt warmer than it’s supposed 6 degrees Celsius, partly because the sun was shining and there was no wind. 

I have been trying to my 10k daily steps in recently, as part of my losing weight strategy, as well as keeping to under 1800 calories a day. So far, over the last two weeks, it has been working for both Martin and I. We have been using the ‘My Fitness Pal’ app, which is free and I have to say is pretty good. 

Anyway, let’s hope we can keep this up. We have both found as we get older and our metabolism slows the weight just creeps on. For me, it’s the grazing between meals and crisps are the problem.
