Lilies and Buddleia

I thought this arrangement in church was rather lovely - the lilies had opened and someone had added some buddleia in since last week. I popped round to copy the news sheet, so took the opportunity to see if I could find a blip!

Afterwards I went on to see a local amateur art society's exhibition. The standard is very high in this particular society and my son designed and updates their website. I can't really buy artwork as I produce too much of my own (!), but I did buy some lovely cards from there. A friend of mine was 'on duty' and some of her bright and colourful paintings were on display there too. She really is very talented. Afterwards I did some shopping (and returned some rather sour and chewy grapes to the shop and got a refund!) I was pleased to get two big punnets of strawberries for £2, but they're use by today, so we'll have to get them washed and eaten in the next couple of days (they'll be fine in the fridge I should think)

The weather is very breezy today, but it's quite humid too - a funny mix again, but at least it's sunny after some thunderstorms in the early part of last night. Got to sleep a bit late as a result.
