IT'S FLOWER FRIDAY

Yup.......it is Flower Friday but there's no flowers around here this time of year and I'm not driving 120 mile round trip to the Domes in Milwaukee just to get a flower pic.  So...high school swimming it is!

Our little school doesn't have a pool..........but we do have a beautiful lake. However, chopping holes through the ice to swim this time of year is problematic SO.....we joined the swimming team in Kiel about 6 miles to the north of us.  They have a pool but not enough swimmers to round out a team.  Well....sounds like a perfect marriage to me.  We get to swim and they get a full team.  As it turns out, two of the best, most reliable swimmers on the Kiel team are from our school.  They win the majority of their races.

The swimmer shown, from our school, doing the 100 yard Freestyle won the event.  The diver in the Extra also won his event but he is from the Kiel system, not ours.  Decent diver....decent form; here doing some sort of front, reverse dojiggy with a half-twist with a difficulty of 2.4 (whatever that means).
