Flower Friday

Another day in ICU but isbi’s doing well and will probably be moved to the ward tomorrow. Visiting hours are split into two sessions leaving me 2 hours to kill so I headed down the road to Maroubra - now I’ve always known where Maroubra was because my siblings used to play Delltones and Little Pattie records when I was young but I don’t think I’ve ever been there.
I have no idea what these flowers are but there are entire streets in Maroubra lined with trees loaded with them - they look great!
Of course the place is better known for the beach and it’s “blond headed stompy wompy real gone surfer boys”! That’s it in the extra (rifle range on the right).
