Barn Owl

The sun had gone down and I was wending my way home when out of the corner of my eye I saw white wings.  I drove on for a little while then thought I really had to go back and check it out.

Having taken my outdoor clothes off for the journey home I then had to stand freezing on the side of the road watching and shivering. She caught a vole but headed away then dropped it in the grasses I think possibly for later only to sit on a fence post in the Extra. Quite a treat to see.

Lovely also to see Jill and catch up whilst Owling or at least trying to spot an owl at any point. Great too to see Technophobe and Loosecanon too!
