First of the Year

I went over to see Cosmo this morning. We went out for a short walk. Only a short walk as she was going out with the dog walk later.

It was very cold, the thermometer said 5°, but the phone said it felt like -3°.

Near her house we spotted some snowdrops, the first I have seen this year. Nearby there were lots waiting to come into flower. A early sign that we are heading in the direction of warmer weather.
