I had to go to the dentist in Ludlow this morning. After that we went straight over to the Mortimer Forest for a good seven mile walk up the Mary Knoll Valley and along part of the Mortimer Trail. I found this parasitic jelly fungus (Yellow Brain, Tremella mesenterica) on a piece of fallen oak.
