Island Queen

We went to Taylinloan and had a wander along the beach to see what is left of the Island Queen. The shoreline has been badly damaged by storm Eowyn and the Island Queen has taken further damage too. I can see from looking back at photos from past years that she has been moved along the beach quite a bit. The whole superstucture and deck is long gone and now a 'pole' from the deck gear has been driven though the seaward hull planking (visible in the blip just above the distant treeline), Another two planks are parting, so I think the hull will now deteriorate more quickly in future weather events.
