Another sunrise.
Another good early walk around the St Ives estate with the Ladies and another sunrise. I was a bit concerned it might be icy this morning but although it was very frosty the dry ground remained ice free.
There is a slight shift in the timing of the morning light as we see it getting gradually lighter. My blip is taken from the lane that crosses the golf course towards the end of our walk. From here you look down to the first and last greens nearing the clubhouse. The sun is just cresting the horizon above what looks like a stream or river but which is in fact the frosted fairways. It was taken at 7.57am
Walking around the back of Coppice Pond Wilsden Walker spotted three deer frolicking in the early sun up the hillside beyond the Archery Range, too far away for my phone camera.
Wilsden Walker managed to blip two of the three deer with her superior phone!
Later I had to go to Guiseley to collect something from M&S. I walked over to the other retail park that we hardly ever go to. Lots of shops I don’t often visit, Next, TK Maxx, and ASDA Living. Got myself a coffee whilst there as Chris was helping at luncheon club this morning.
When I got back I put some towels out for a blow in the sun and spotted that the crocus flowers I blipped last Friday had been encouraged to open. I took a picture as I believe there isn’t going to be much sun here tomorrow!
Two lovely days in a row.
