The Sant'Orso Fair in Aosta....

...takes places every year on 30th and 31st January...

Artists and craftsmen from the Aosta Valley display their wares throughout the streets - sculptures made in stone or wood, objects made in wrought iron or leather or lace, wicker etc

As it was such a manky day, we went down to the town on the cablecar for a mooch. So many people strolling through the town, and so many stalls - it was difficult to move!
