Afternoon Sun

Took this from the passenger seat cruising along Ilparpa road just south of Alice Springs. This is one of the stunning (smaller) ranges in the area. The earling morning and afternoon sun really makes these rocks glow. I have missed this country and since we are leaving again tomorrow will continue to miss it...

Just dropped Bonnie off at a friend of T's to look after while we are gone. She is going to have a fabulous time - lovely big yard and another elderly dog to play with. She was pouncing around, play bowing and getting all excited to meet her new friend :)

It's been a long and emotional day. Packed up my Alice life as much as I could and it's now loaded in the cruiser ready for a very early start tomorrow morning. We'll be aiming to get to Port Augusta by tomorrow evening which is roughly 1200kms of driving.
