Persona

A very decent day at work, a good chunk of it being taken up with a trip to the Everlyn Nicodemus exhibition at the Modern Art with someone, including a lovely walk through Dean Village and along the Water Of Leith to get there.

Straight out after work to The Cameo for a teatime showing in Screen One of Ingmar Bergman's 1966 film 'Persona'. Very 60s, very European, very Godardian - not quite sure I got it all but I admired a lot of its experimental nature and the black and white cinematography in particular was strikingly beautiful, really.
