Rum
While out with Bertie this morning I enjoyed a clear panoramic view from the island of Coll in the north-west to Rum in the north and eastward to Ardnamurchan which I have blipped before. The peaks of Rum looked quite striking with a sprinkling of snow and a small cloud imitating a volcanic plume over the easternmost summit.
During the day I chatted with a few different folk and of course the main topic of conversation was the storm. Most folk had fared quite well although one or two whose homes were all-electric had been rather cold.
In the late afternoon we had a successful meeting of the Community Orchard group to review the past few months and to plan for this year.
