A Precious Moment
Little Man and I had a lovely day, despite the broken night. Little Man was awake during the night for over two hours. Thankfully, he did go back to sleep and slept until just before 9. I was woken up around 8:30 by someone knocking at the door. I don't know it was because I didn't get out of bed.
We got the bus and then the train to Utrecht. We had a lovely time there. I wanted to get some things and since Little Man loves trains, I thought it was worth a ride on the train. My life group had a bring and share, so I picked up some quiche. When we got home, I let Little Man play in the garden for over an hour. Whilst he played I was able to get the laundry folded and put away. He did occasionally come in to check on me, a few times he wanted me to go with him towards the bottom of the garden. He happily held my hand as we went. It was a precious moment. My boy is growing up so fast.
At life group's bring and share at Timann's home, Little Man was having too much fun to eat anything and really enjoyed himself. There are eleven kids under the age of twelve in our life group, all of whom all but two are under six. Little Man really enjoys bring and share, as it means he gets to stay up late and play with his friends. I took his pyjamas with me, so I changed him whilst we were there, which meant that I could put Little Man straight to bed when we got home.
