Waiting

The birds were up before me. By the time I got downstairs and opened the curtain a couple of inches of snow had fallen, the feeders were empty with lilac trees littered with hungry birds. Just look at this poor little starling! • The first storm moved out by noon but another one is due to bring another couple of inches late this afternoon. I texted Isaac not to plow but he’ll be needed on Friday if another 6” comes true • I just finished making a veggie-bean soup for dinner. It just seemed to match today’s weather :) • Peace & Love
