Three hill day

Plotted a walk up and across the Eildon Hills, I had never heard of them but hubby read a book based around this area and wanted to walk them. Walked directly from site and it was a hard slog to the top of Eildon Mid Hill, and down wasn’t easy.
But Eildon Wester and back to Eildon Hill North was much easier.
Beautiful views, cold and breezy but the sun was out and the sky was blue.
Sat on the side of the last one to shelter from the bitter wind and had a sandwich and coffee.
Got back down and hubby suggested a beer on the way back to site, very nice.
We decided to stay here an extra day and then move to coast for a couple of nights so site found and booked.
Hetty seems to have had a good day and is now snoring on the seat next to me.
Currently listening to one of my favourite bands, seen a few times, Deacon Blue.
