Merchant Seaman's Memorial

Down Cardiff Bay for a walk this afternoon. Plenty of great photo opportunities, but I'd forgotten about this sculpture, and thought it was worth a blip. It is a sculpture of a metal face, fused to part of a ships hull.
The inscription on the plaque reads;
In memory of the Merchant Seafarers from the ports of Barry, Penarth, Cardiff, who died in times of war.
