An Inspector Calls

Pleased to report that we're still top-rated for food hygiene etc.

The inspection regime for different businesses and counties seems hugely variable.  B&Bs are seen as relatively low risk - small numbers of meals, and not much salad.  

Worcestershire is ramping up their inspection frequency but just over the border in Herefordshire an inspection is very rare.  One thing the inspectorate is finding is that literally thousands of small food businesses have ceased trading in Worcestershire since Covid.
