I wouldn’t normally describe myself as a Cilla, but had great pleasure in surprising a colleague who’s become a good pal, with another who’d retired a couple of years ago, and is greatly missed. (So much so I arranged to have one of the storms named after her a wee while ago!)

Her unexpected guest appearance at conference went down a completely different type of storm, so glad I persuaded her to emerge from Fife and come to see lots of people who I knew missed her, I think it was a badly-needed boost to her self confidence, which I know took a beating around her exit from some truly dreadful and demoralising management in government.
