Sparkling!

This afternoon, I decided to do some polishing and here are some of the things I put a shine to.
The photo frame on top left has a picture of me and my family from about 70 years ago.
The cigarette case at top right belonged to my grandfather who died at the end of World War One. There is a bit of a dent in it and I seem to remember that I was told that that is where it was hit my a bullet thus saving his life, but I suspect that was just a tale.
The spoons and sugar tongs were taken from our breakfast table this morning!
And I think the napkin rings were christening presents.
